The remarkable team, consisting of Jyothi Surekha Vennam, Parneet Kaur, and Aditi Gopichand Swami, delivered an exceptional performance in the final round against the Mexican team. With a score of 235-229, the Indian trio demonstrated their prowess and precision in the sport.

The journey of the Indian women's compound archery team to the final was nothing short of impressive. After receiving a bye in the first round, the team faced formidable opponents from Chinese Taipei and Turkey in the quarter-finals and pre-quarterfinals, respectively. The Indian archers displayed their skills and determination, emerging victorious in these challenging encounters. In the semi-finals, they faced a nail-biting battle against the defending champions, Colombia. Despite the tough competition, the Indian team prevailed with a score of 220-216, securing their spot in the final round.

In the much-anticipated final round, the Indian women's compound team faced the Mexican team, which consisted of Dafne Quintero, Ana Sofia Hernandez Jeon, and Andrea Becerra.
