Magnitude 3.8 earthquake hits Tarn Taran in Punjab

A mild earthquake with a magnitude of 3.8 struck the Tarn Taran region of Punjab on Monday evening. The earthquake, occurring at a depth of 40 kilometers, was located at latitude 31.22 and longitude 74.62 by the National Center for Seismology.
The earthquake caused no immediate reports of damage or casualties. It originated from a depth of 40 kilometers beneath the surface and was pinpointed in the Tarn Taran region of Punjab. There were no immediate reports of any significant impact on the area.

Prior to this, on Sunday, a 3.0 magnitude earthquake hit the Ladakh region of Jammu and Kashmir. The earthquake occurred at 11:48 am according to the National Center for Seismology. The tremor was recorded at a depth of 5 kilometers with coordinates latitude 33.34 and longitude 76.84.
