Detailed voter data release

The Election Commission released the absolute voter turnout data for all phases on May 25. This release came after the Supreme Court declined to issue directions to the EC on an NGO's request to upload booth-wise voter turnout data online. The EC emphasized the transparency and rigor of its vote collection and storage processes, addressing concerns from some opposition parties about potential data manipulation. The Commission assured that the entire process of releasing turnout data since the elections began on April 19 has been accurate and consistent with election laws.

The voter turnout data was made available 24/7 through the Voter Turnout App starting at 9:30 am on polling days. The seventh and final phase of the Lok Sabha elections is scheduled for June 1, with vote counting set for June 4.
