Covid-19 cases are on the rise in Chandigarh
Today, 1,085 samples were examined, with a positive rate of 6.91 percent. The number of active cases has increased to 383 after 13 patients were freed, including those who had been in home isolation for 10 days and were asymptomatic, according to Ministry of Health norms.
The death toll remains at 1,079, with 64,674 people having been rescued so far. In the last seven days, a positive rate of 3.66 per cent was observed, with an average of 51 cases.
The Chandigarh Administration has decided to close Rock Garden and Bird Park until further orders because to an increase in Covid-19 infections. Sukhna Lake will be closed to all activities, including boating, from Monday until Saturday, according to the UT Administration.
