Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal tested positive for corona

Arvind Kejriwal, the Delhi Chief minister, tested positive for coronavirus. He has informed the public about this by tweeting. Kejriwal is currently confined to his home.

"I have tested positive for Covid. Mild symptoms. Have isolated myself at home. Those who came in touch with me in last few days, kindly isolate yourself and get yourself tested." Kejriwal tweeted.

In the run-up to this year’s Uttarakhand assembly elections, Kejriwal spoke at the AAP’s Nav Parivartan Yatra at Parade Ground in Dehradun on Monday. On Tuesday, the Delhi chief minister was to attend a meeting of the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) to discuss the Covid-19 situation in the national capital.

Following the development of the Omicron variant, Delhi has seen an increase in Covid-19 cases over the last two weeks. In the last 24 hours, the city has recorded 4,099 new Covid-19 cases, bringing the city’s positive rate to 6.46 percent.
