In Punjab, 7.4 Kg of heroin, as well as arms and ammunition, were seized
Officials said the BSF seized heroin, guns, and ammunition near the Indo-Pak border in Punjab on Wednesday, allegedly pushed in by Pakistani-based traffickers.
Early in the morning, BSF forces in the Ferozepur Sector saw suspicious movement ahead of the border barrier, according to an official statement issued in Amritsar.
Six packages of heroin totaling roughly 6.3 kilos and tied in yellow wrapping, one firearm, one magazine, and 50 rounds were seized during a search in the suspected area, according to the report.
