Janvi won Bronze in the ongoing 59th National Skating Championship held at Dhelpur, Punjab.

She has been National Champion in roller freestyle for last 2 years. She wanted to try herself in different style of freestyle skating and choosed Freestyle Classic Slalom this time and shown her metal again by winning Bronze.  Changing the style and trying a new event in a National Competition and winning medal is what defines her.

She has always been one who brings something new to her skating style. She is introduced Bhangra on Skates a year back, but merging same in a Competition event having multiple rules is something which needs creativity & courage.  Freestyle Classic Slalom is doing artistic moves within line of cones where if cone moved will be a panelty. She merged traditional dance form Bhanga in her performance on Skates which was for the first time merged by anyone in Competition skating.  Her performance was appriciated by one and all and was taken as a game changer for upcoming events. 

She now wants to further increase Chandigarh participation in fresstyle skating & wants that more children come forward to present Chandigarh in next Nationals.

She practice at Rose Garden underpass and makes every passerby stop once to watch her practice.
