Night Curfew Imposed

All individuals entering the state would be tried and followed, as indicated by the Uttar Pradesh

Live updates on the UP night curfew: The Yogi government has imposed a night curfew starting December 25.

In Uttar Pradesh, a night curfew has been imposed from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m., beginning tomorrow (Saturday); amid increased worry over the spread of the Omicron strain of Covid-19.

The decision came after a high-level conference in which Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, ordered the limitations to be implemented. Following a review of the state's Covid-19 situation, the orders were provided. Other Covid-related procedures and limitations, such as a ban on gatherings of more than 200 individuals, would be implemented in addition to the curfew.

The government has also ordered a special effort to convey the word "Mask nahi, toh saman nahi" throughout the marketplaces (no selling products to people without masks). According to a government spokeswoman, the restrictions were put in place because to an increase in Covid instances in various states.

In the previous 24 hours, 49 new Covid-19 cases have been reported in Uttar Pradesh. There are now 266 active cases in the state. While 84.23 percent of the population has gotten a first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, just 45.66 percent has been fully vaccinated, according to government statistics. In addition, orders have been issued to ramp up the vaccination campaign.
