Modi after releasing PM-Kisan instalment: Economic statistics better than pre-Covid times

The Prime Minister also noted the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor's opening and the start of  Ram Mandir's construction during his speech.

Modi was speaking after the release of the PM-tenth Kisan's installment.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said Saturday that while the Coronavirus has caused obstacles, it will not be able to halt India's progress. He further stated that in 2022, the country must pick up the pace.

"Today, our economy is growing at a rate of more than 8%. India has received record foreign investment, and its foreign exchange reserves have surpassed previous highs. In the GST collection, past records have also been surpassed. "We've also established new paradigms in terms of exports, particularly agricultural," Modi remarked.

"By 2022, we'll have to pick up the pace even more. Coronavirus has caused hurdles, but it will not be able to slow India's progress. "India will combat Covid with extreme prudence while still pursuing its national interests," he said.

During his discourse, the Prime Minister likewise referenced the introduction of the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor and the start of the development of the Ram Mandir.

 "We are attempting to fortify our legacy," he said, adding that it will prompt an expansion in the travel industry and journeys.

Modi started his discourse by communicating sympathies to the people who lost their friends and family in the charge at the Mata Vaishno Devi Complex. Prior, he cooperated with the individuals from the Farmers' Producers Organization from Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Tamil Nadu.
