Modi will rally in every crucial area in Uttar Pradesh

Even though the BJP is campaigning in Uttar Pradesh with Yogi Adityanath in the lead, the trump card for the party is Prime Minister Modi. The BJP is ready to use PM Modi's rallies in the UP assembly elections as a trump card.

Modi, who has been at the forefront of the BJP's development as well as the tried-and-true Hindutva narrative, is expected to go all out in the poll-bound state that has the most parliamentarians in the country. According to BJP sources, the party intends to hold rallies for Modi at every strategic area throughout all six organisational zones, not only to put the party in a favourable position, but also to counteract the opposition's efforts to fuel anti-incumbency sentiment.

Swatantra Dev Singh, the BJP's president in Uttar Pradesh, said Modi was one of the few leaders who could communicate directly with the people, whether it was the intellectual class or communities at the bottom of the social ladder.

"His unmatched ability to interact with people from all walks of life makes him tremendously popular and gives the party an edge over its competitors," he told TOI. According to experts, Modi's previous work for the RSS, the BJP's ideological fountainhead, has given him the ability to understand the contemporary socio-political situation and adapt accordingly.
