India set a 212-run target for South Africa in the series-deciding third Test in Cape Town on Thursday, with Rishabh Pant scoring a combative unbroken century.
Pant, who had been criticized for his poor performance in the ongoing series, responded with a furious century in the second innings of the Cape Town Test.
Former cricketers such as Suresh Raina and Virender Sehwag lauded the cricketer.
India’s second innings was dismissed for 198 runs as pacers Marco Jansen (4/36) Kagiso Rabada (3/53) and Lungi Ngidi (3/21) shared the wickets.
