Panjab University ranks first among government-funded and supported universities in terms of innovation.
In the third edition of the Atal Rankings of Universities on Innovation Achievements, PU was ranked first among government institutions, followed by Delhi Technological University and the Netaji Subhas University of Technology.
In India's third edition of the Atal Rankings of Institutions on Innovation Achievements, Panjab University (PU) was placed top for innovation among Government and Assisted (State and Presumed) Universities in the Technical Category (ARIIA).
On Wednesday, Union State Minister for Education Subhas Sarkar revealed the ARIIA-2021 results. The participating institutions were divided into two categories: technical and non-technical.
In the same category, PU is followed by Delhi Technological University and the Netaji Subhas University of Technology, which are ranked second and third respectively.
Last year, the university was ranked second among government and grant-aided universities in the country.
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras was named the top institute for innovation among the centrally funded technical institutes (CFTI).
