Pawan Bansal strongly refutes Kiran Kher remarks on dumping ground

Chandigarh, December 23: Pawan Bansal former Union Minister has strongly refuted the statement made today by Kiran Kher, Chandigarh MP regarding the dumping ground issue and termed it as a desperate attempt to salvage her crumbling image among the people of Chandigarh.
Criticizing the Chandigarh MP for misleading the people, he stated that the Garbage treatment plant was working efficiently till the Congress was at the helm at the MC. The dumping ground was almost at ground level. Thereafter, BJP MP as well as her party neglected the city out rightly. What steps she or her party took to rectify the situation when the garbage dump began gaining height, he asked. The fact is that she did nothing in last seven years. Now by issuing such press statements she wants people of Chandigarh to condone her gross dereliction of duty, he added.
Bansal further stated that it is only MC elections and a fear of imminent electoral defeat that has brought her to Chandigarh. Otherwise in the past she had enough time to shoot for her Reality Shows but not for the people of Chandigarh.
He further added that the people of Chandigarh are well aware of how she has given a step-motherly statement to the city and brought it to present sorry pass. The voters of Chandigarh are all prepared to hand down a massive defeat to the BJP now.
