The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board has extended the registration deadline for the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) 2022 until 6 p.m. on January 16, 2022. Candidates can see the notification via wbjeeb.nic.in, the official WBJEE website.

Previously, the deadline to register for the exam was January 10, 2022. The decision was made “in light of the pandemic scenario, and in the best interests of the prospective applicants,” according to the board’s announcement.

The examination is set to take place on April 23, 2022. The first math paper will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and the second chemistry and physics paper will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Candidates will be required to mark their responses on an optical machine-readable response sheet (OMR). Using only a blue/black ballpoint pen, they will darken the relevant circle to signify their response.

All questions will be objective in nature, with four options for each. The mathematics paper-I will be a 100-point paper with 75 questions divided into three groups based on the number of points each question will receive. The Physics and Chemistry paper-II has a total of 100 marks and 40 questions. Questions are classified into three groups based on the number of points they will receive.
