A Jharkhand man who had been paralysed for five years begins walking and speaking; doctors describe his recovery as "miraculous." 

He not only rose up and started walking after receiving the first dosage of Covishield, the anti-COVID vaccination, but he could also communicate, much to his family's surprise.

According to a media source, a 55-year-old bedridden Jharkhand man began to walk and speak after receiving the first dosage of Covishield vaccine on Thursday. Dularchand Munda is an inhabitant of Salgadih village in the Jharkhand district of Bokaro.

According to the sources Dularchand Munda, the family's lone earning hand, was bedridden with spine damage after an accident five years ago, in which he was badly injured and lost the ability to move and speak. He not only rose up and began walking after receiving the first dosage of Covishield vaccination, but he could also communicate.
