Delhi had reported 24,383 cases with a 30.64 percent positive rate and 34 deaths as of Friday. The city saw 28,867 COVID-19 cases and 31 deaths on Thursday, the highest single-day increase since the outbreak began, with a positive rate of 29.21%. In the last 24 hours, 65,621 Covid tests were done, with 54,141 being RT-PCR testing and 11,480 being antigen tests. According to government statistics, the city's dedicated Covid hospitals have 2711 patients. There are 120 Covid suspects and 2591 Covid patients among them.
There are 2241 people from Delhi, and 350 from other states. They include 835 people on oxygen, 123 people on ventilators, and 738 people in the intensive care unit. Only 2,711 of the 15,499 hospital beds designated for Covid patients are in use.
