SANSAD-2022, DEBATATHON AND QUIZ WIZ SAW COMPETITIVE SPIRIT AT ITS BEST
Chandigarh, January 17:
The 'Sustainable Development Goals Summit 2022' being organised by Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School, Chandigarh in association with Aspirant Learning and collaboration with United Nations Information Centre for India and Bhutan witnessed its third and the last day on 16th January, 2022 with final rounds of various competitions being held.
On the occasion, the Participants and the spectators expressed their views on the various SDGs and others were tested for their knowledge. The day began early, with the kicking off 'Sansad 2022' which in itself had a great participation of over 180 delegates and 7 hours of debating. The debates were enriching and fruitful for everyone. The enthusiasm could be seen in every delegate.
The final round of the Speech Competition was held for students of classes III - V. It is a common belief that young children can not be confident but their performance surpassed the expectations. They had a competitive spirit and displayed it in immense measure.
The Debatathon final round had a format of modified Parliamentary Debate. The treasury benches and the opposition presented their views very impressively. Last but not the least was the third round of the Quiz Wiz tournament. All the participants put their best foot forward and there was positive feedback in terms of the organisation and management of the Summit.
The Debatathon and Quiz Wiz were live-streamed on the YouTube Channel of Aspirant Learning named Aspirant India Initiative.
The last day of the Summit was indeed a terrific one. The past three days were a series of productive and fruitful endeavours and the closing ceremony was like a cherry on top. It was graced by distinguished dignitaries, Dr. Kiran Bedi (24th Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry) and by Mr. Shyam Kapoor (Regional Officer CBSE, Chandigarh) who addressed the audience with their inspirational words.
The Summit also had various significant artists who added to the merriment of the audience with their exceptionally beautiful and stunning performances. There was constant excitement and curiosity on the faces of all the participants waiting for the results to be announced. The organising committee members were lauded for their hard work and the blood, and sweat.
Looking at the enthusiasm and zeal of the participants in the past few days, Summit was announced closed by the Principal of the school. The main aim of the Summit was more than fulfilled and will be a remarkable memory for every person associated with it. The Summit was indeed a phenomenal success.
