A large fire broke out inside a closed cinema hall in the city’s Lake Town neighborhood, injuring at least two individuals, according to a senior official with the Fire Department. On Friday night, at least 15 fire tenders were dispatched to put out a flame at the “Mini Jaya” hall. Fire Minister Sujit Bose, who is also a native of the region, hurried to the scene and started the fire was likely sparked by a stove on which the caretaker’s wife was cooking meals. They remained in a room on the building’s top floor.
