Answers: 

1) Australia - Japan recently signed a historic Defence Agreement with Australia, to ensure a secure and stable Indo-Pacific region. This agreement has been signed amidst the expansion of China’s military and economic influence in the region. Called the Reciprocal Access Agreement (RAA)’, this is Japan’s second such agreement. Japan’s only other military pact is with the United States. 

2) PV Narasimha Rao - The set of reforms introduced and implemented in India in the July 1991 for a major macroeconomic stabilization and structural adjustment in Indian economy is called as the 1991 reforms. It was undertaken when PV Narasimha Rao was the Prime Minister of the country

3) Cristiano Ronaldo - Portuguese football legend Cristiano Ronaldo’s statue has been unveiled in Panaji, Goa to motivate the younger generation towards sports. This is the first time that the statue of Cristiano Ronaldo has been installed in India. The statue, which weighs around 410 kgs cost around Rs 12 Lakhs.

4) Afghanistan - Afghanistan has signed a new agreement with Tajikistan’s “Tajik Electricity” company for the extension of the import of electricity for the next year. As per recent reports, Afghanistan needs 850 megawatts of electricity per year. Afghanistan imports 620 megawatts from Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Iran.While, 230 megawatts are supplied from domestic sources. 

5) Gujrat High Court - The Gujarat High Court has become the first high court to begin live-streaming of court proceedings. Chief Justice of India NV Ramana launched the first live broadcast of the court functioning.
