Answers:

1) Azure Power - Indian solar power producer Azure Power has fully commissioned its largest project, a 600-MW solar park in the state of Rajasthan.

The independent Power producer now owns and operates India’s largest solar power project at a single location. The solar park is located in Bikaner and is connected to the Interstate Transmission System (ISTS). It will supply its power to Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) over 25 years. 

2) Afghanistan - The UN and partners launched their largest ever country-specific appeal for Afghanistan, at a special session, where the UN launched the $5 billion appeal.

The appeal aimed to rescue the collapsing basic services in Afghanistan, which have left 22 million in need of assistance inside the country. The UN also announced that 5.7 million people require help beyond its borders. 

3) Sambit Patra - BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra was appointed as the chairman of India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet. 

4) Russia - The Luna-25 is a space research lander module whose launch is scheduled for July 2022 from the Vostochny spaceport in the Russian Far East. 

5) 10,000 - Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Thaawarchand Gehlot released the third edition of the Indian Sign Language (ISL) Dictionary. This edition has 10,000 terms of daily use and technical terms including academic, legal, medical terms. The second edition of the dictionary released in 2019 had 6,000 terms and the first edition released in 2018 had 3,000 terms.
