Answers:
1) Oceania - French Polynesia is an overseas collectivity of France, comprising more than 100 islands in the South Pacific in Oceania.
2) Ana - Tropical Storm Ana hit three southern African countries, leading to a death count of 70. The storm made landfall in Madagascar before entering into Mozambique and Malawi.
Madagascar reported 41 dead and 18 others were killed in Mozambique and 11 in Malawi. The Emergency teams were battling to repair damaged infrastructure and help tens of thousands of victims.
3) China - According to the 10th Edition of Hurun Global Rich List 2021, China leads with the highest number of billionaires at 1058 followed by the U.S and India.
The index also highlighted that the world added 8 billionaires a week in 2020. The total wealth of all billionaires across the globe rose 32 per cent during the review period.
4) Odisha - Paika Rebellion was an armed rebellion against Company Rule in India in 1817 which took place in parts of Odisha.
The Union Government, in consultation with the Indian Council of Historical Research has clarified that the Paika Rebellion had set an example for the masses in India against the company rule, but the same cannot be termed as the first War of Independence.
5) Joe Root - The England Cricket Team Captain Joe Root has become the first cricket player to score a double century in the 100th test match.
Joe Root achieved this feat during the test match against India at Chennai. He scored fifth double century of his career. He also became only the second captain, other than Don Bradman, to hit 150-plus scores in three Test matches in a run.
