On Tuesday, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) issued its manifesto for the Punjab Assembly elections, vowing to forgive all debts owed by farmers with less than 5 acres of land in the state. It ensures a Minimum Support Price (MSP) for farmers farming fruits, vegetables, pulses, and oilseeds, in addition to providing free power up to 300 units to all households.

The party's 'Lok Kalyan Sankalp Patra' in Uttar Pradesh stipulates that in situations of Love Jihad, the party will assure a minimum of 10 years in prison and a fine of Rs 1 lakh. It also adds that the BJP will strengthen wheat and paddy purchases at MSP and will provide free energy to farmers for irrigation.

The Rani Laxmi Bai Yojana provides free scooties to meritorious college-going girls, according to the manifesto presented by Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. For women over the age of 60, it also provides free public transportation. On the occasion of Diwali and Holi, the PM's Ujjwala Yojana would offer two complimentary LPG cylinders, according to the statement.

If elected in Goa, the party promised to turn the state into a hub for co-working spaces and remote working in the post-pandemic era. While unveiling the manifesto alongside Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, Goa CM Pramod Sawant stated that three free gas cylinders will be supplied every year to empower householders in the state.

Meanwhile, during a joint news conference with Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav in Lucknow, West Bengal Chief Minister and TMC leader Mamata Banerjee solicited support for the Samajwadi Party. The TMC president urged people in Uttar Pradesh to vote for SP, saying that those guilty for the Hathras and Unnao events would never be forgiven by history. She stated that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath must first apologize before asking for votes.
