Farhan Akhtar, a Bollywood actor and director, married Shibani Dandekar, an actor and host, in a private ceremony in Khandala on Saturday.
Shibani is dressed in a red gown and Farhan is dressed in a black suit in a photo of the newlyweds. Hrithik Roshan and his family, director Ashutosh Gowariker, and composer Ehsaan Noorani were photographed at the location earlier in the day when they arrived for the wedding celebration.
A video from the event is making the rounds on social media. Farhan-Shibani and Hrithik Roshan are seen in the video grooving to Shankar Mahadevan’s ‘Dil Chahta Hai’ title tune, which was being performed at the event.
Shibani appeared to be in high spirits in a series of images, as though she was savouring every minute.
In an interview Farhan’s father, acclaimed writer Javed Akhtar, confirmed the wedding. Due to the epidemic, the lyricist-writer stated that the wedding will be a simple event. Javed further mentioned that Shibani and his family got along seamlessly.
Farhan and Shibani first appeared as a pair in 2018 at Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s wedding reception in Mumbai.
Since then, the couple has been fairly open about their love for each other, as evidenced by their frequent Instagram photo sharing. On her birthday in 2021, Shibani received a tattoo of Farhan’s name on her neck.
According to the latest reports, Farhan and Shibani danced with their guests to the title tune from “Dil Chahta Hai” after their wedding. Farhan’s directorial debut, “Dil Chahta Hai”, was one of the most memorable films of his career. Following their wedding, the couple shook hands with their guests.
