Even if the Shiv Sena, Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), and other parties join forces to form a third front at the national level, according to Union Minister Ramdas Athawale, the NDA would not be threatened because people are satisfied with the Narendra Modi-led administration.

He also voiced confidence in the BJP's ability to win the national elections in 2024, as well as the ongoing Assembly elections in five states.

On Sunday, Telangana Chairman Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, who also leads the TRS, met with Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray in Mumbai, and then met with NCP chief Sharad Pawar. The gatherings were part of a countrywide campaign to bring together like-minded parties to oppose the BJP.

Following their two-hour discussion, Rao and Thackeray addressed a joint press conference, saying that change is the need of the hour.

"Even if Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao visited Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray and NCP president Sharad Pawar and held talks about building a third front, there is no threat to the National Democratic Alliance (NDA)," Athawale told reporters in Pune.

"People are happy because we are working under Narendra Modi's leadership. We will be unaffected even if the Shiv Sena and other parties establish a third front. The BJP will reclaim power in 2024. We will win in five states where elections are now taking place "he stated

He predicted that the BJP, which won 282 seats in 2014 and 303 seats in 2019, will win 404 seats in the 2024 elections.

He predicted that the BJP would win power in Punjab as well.

The RPI(A) leader was in Pune for a series of events.

The federal minister of state for social justice and empowerment, in response to allegations and counter-allegations between leaders of the ruling Shiv Sena and the opposition BJP in Maharashtra, said the verbal sparring between the two parties should end now.

"I'm going to speak with Uddhav Thackeray about the Shiv Sena-BJP verbal battle. We were pals for a long time and only recently split ways. However, we should reunite to control the state and share the position of chief minister for an equal number of years. If the Shiv Sena and the BJP share power, the government will be able to obtain more finances and carry out development in the state more effectively "According to Athawale.

"Those in power should keep their mouths shut. The opposition might bring up a variety of topics and ask for answers. They can respond to the opposition's questions, but they should avoid using profanity "Added he.

Several important leaders from both parties, including Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut and BJP politician and Union minister Narayan Rane, have levelled various claims in the recent few days.
