Answers: 

1) Ireland - Northern Ireland is marking 50 years of Bloody Sunday, on which British soldiers fired upon a crowd of protesters, killing 14 people.

2) Assam - Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma launched “Project Sadbhawana”. It aims to dispose over 4-5 lakh pending files lying in the State secretariat within a year.

A portal will be created where people can inform of their pending files. Along with project Sadbhavana, a Swachhata Abhiyan in Janata Bhawan will also be launched to promote cleanliness in all the departments in the Secretariat.

3) UAE - The United Arab Emirates has announced to introduce a ‘Federal Corporate Tax’ from mid-2023, as per its Finance Ministry. 

4) China - According to the 10th Edition of Hurun Global Rich List 2021, China leads with the highest number of billionaires at 1058 followed by the U.S and India.

The index also highlighted that the world added 8 billionaires a week in 2020. The total wealth of all billionaires across the globe rose 32 per cent during the review period. 

5) PR Srejeesh - Veteran Indian hockey goalkeeper PR Srejeesh won the prestigious World Games Athlete of the Year for his 2021 performances.

Sreejesh became the first man and second hockey player to win the award, after India Hockey women’s captain Rani, who won the 2019 prize. He played a significant role in the men’s team that claimed a bronze medal in the Tokyo Olympics.
