Punjab Government committed to solve all the problems: MLA Kulwant Singh
S. A. S. Nagar, March 01: On the guidelines of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, "Aap Di Sarkar Aap De Duar" program organised at under the chairmanship of MLA Kulwant Singh and Deputy Commissioner Aashika Jain. While addressing the camp at village Patton Mr. Kulwant Singh said that the Punjab government is committed to solve the problems of the people.The special feature of this campaign is that Aadhaar updation has been started at the village level. Now, Camps will be held regularly in different villages of SAS Nagar district.
Mr. Kulwant Singh said that the people elected the present government to accomplish their dreams of development. The Government is on the path of fulfilling the guarantees given to the people. He said that more work will be done beyond the given guarantees by the government. As per the directions given by the Chief Minister, the administration has reached at every door steps where the people are being given the benefits of the schemes as well as being made aware about the various schemes. The MLA said that every problem is being solved by the government. He appealed that every responsible person should contribute for the progress of the state. He said that thousands of youngsters have been employed in government departments and in the coming months this number will reach upto lakhs in the coming months.The MLA said that electricity bills of 86 percent of the people of the state are zero.
On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Mrs. Aashika Jain said that through these camps, facilities are being provided by the government at the door steps of the people. These kind of camps are very beneficial because these would save time and money of the people. She appealed to the people to get maximum benefit from such camps. Talking about the gathered data, the Deputy Commissioner said that most of the people visiting the sewa Kendras for Aadhaar card related tasks. Therefore, the facility of Aadhaar update has been given on priority basis in this camp.
The Deputy Commissioner also said that facilities such as making corrections in Aadhaar, linking Aadhaar with bank account, solving problems related to pension and paying pension on the spot have been provided in the camp. The Deputy Commissioner appealed to the people to update the Aadhaar cards.
The villagers submitted a letter to the MLA regarding the problems of the village. A large number of problems brought to the attention of the MLA and Deputy Commissioner by the people, were solved on the spot and necessary action has been initiated regarding the pending problems.
On this occasion, the MLA and District Administration officials also reviewed the development works of the village. Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) Mrs. Avneet Kaur, SDM Mohali Mrs. Sarbjit Kaur along with officers of various departments were present on the occasion.
