Chandigarh, April 18: Social Security, Women and Child Development Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur released the logo of the Child Rights Commission at a function held at Forest Complex, Mohali today.
The Cabinet Minister stated that the Child Rights Commission acts as a support system for the smooth implementation of the Protection of Child Rights Act, 2005 in Punjab. The logo features a physical map of Punjab, a curved sphere (arc) with figures of four children, supported by a hand below, symbolizing empowerment, hope, trust, and support for children. This logo highlights the reliable and efficient functioning of the Commission on Child Welfare and Child Rights.The Minister praised Prof. Anjli Agarwal, who prepared the logo with great effort and diligence.
Child Rights Commission Chairman Kanwardeep Singh stated that this logo represents the four stages of children's life development.
Dr. Baljit Kaur expressed confidence that the logo will serve as a powerful symbol of the Commission's mission and help create awareness about the importance of protecting and promoting children's rights in our society.
