Appropriate action will be taken against the accused - Ashika Jain
Derabassi, April 21: Taking the serious action for the death of five persons during Sewrage cleaning in Derabassi, Deputy Commissioner, Aashika Jain has directed a magisterial inquiry for this incident. It is to be noted that five persons have died due to poisonous gas in two incidents at Derabassi today.
According to a government spokesperson, the first incident occurred at Johal Kalan village where, sarpanch had hired two persons for cleaning of sewer. One amongst them has expired due to asphyxiation and the other is critical at Govt. Medical College and Hospital sector 32 Chandigarh. The other incident has occurred at a meat plant in Behra, where four persons have died due to asphyxiation while working in Sewrage.
Ms. Aashika Jain said that no culprit responsible for these incidents will be spared and appropriate action will be taken against them.
