Prime Minister Narendra Modi will open a new six-lane expressway in Rajasthan as part of the Amritsar-Jamnagar Economic Corridor. The 500-kilometer section, costing around ₹11,125 crore, runs from Jakhdawali village in Hanumangarh district to Khetlawas village in Jalore district. This expressway is expected to reduce travel time, improve connectivity between cities and industrial areas, and facilitate the transportation of goods, thus boosting tourism and contributing to economic growth.
During his visit to four states, including Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, and Rajasthan, PM Modi will lay the foundation and inaugurate various projects worth ₹50,000 crore. In Chhattisgarh, he inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for eight projects totaling over ₹7,000 crore. These projects aim to enhance infrastructure and connectivity in the state, leading to its progress.
PM Modi dedicated and initiated five National Highway projects, worth approximately ₹6,400 crores, including the 33-kilometer four-laning of the Raipur to Kodebod section on the Jabalpur-Jagdalpur National Highway. He also laid the foundation stone for three National Highway projects for the Chhattisgarh section of the six-lane Greenfield Raipur-Visakhapatnam corridor.
Additionally, PM Modi distributed 75 lakh cards to beneficiaries under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, a healthcare initiative. He highlighted that Chhattisgarh's youth have received ₹40,000 crore assistance through the Mudra Yojna program.
