Despite their previous correspondence on the matter, Mann expressed disappointment at the lack of response from the governor, who also serves as the Chandigarh administrator. He pointed out that the AAP holds all seven Rajya Sabha seats in Punjab and has a significant number of councillors in the Chandigarh Municipal Corporation.
Mann highlighted the allocation of land to other political parties and accused the Chandigarh administration of favoritism and ulterior motives due to its inaction and "deafening silence" on the issue.
In his letter to the governor, Mann requested the prompt allocation of a suitable plot for the construction of the AAP office in Chandigarh. He urged the governor to take necessary measures and expedite the process.
