During a recent interview, renowned actor Anil Kapoor opened up about his experience working with Hollywood star Tom Cruise and how people's perception of Cruise had evolved over time. Anil and Tom shared the screen in the movie "Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol." Reflecting on the past, Anil mentioned that some individuals in Bollywood had made snide remarks about Tom Cruise. However, he revealed that those same people had now become ardent fans of the Hollywood actor. "Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol" was released in 2011, with Anil Kapoor playing the role of Brij Nath. The film serves as the sequel to "Mission: Impossible III" (2006) and stands as the fourth installment in the celebrated "Mission: Impossible" film series.

In a recent interview with Film Companion, Anil Kapoor expressed his admiration for Hollywood films and shared his excitement for upcoming projects, including Christopher Nolan's "Oppenheimer." Anil also mentioned looking forward to Tom Cruise's action-packed films, stating that he has always admired Cruise's work. He recounted how some of his Bollywood colleagues initially dismissed Cruise's greatness, but later became fans after watching "Top Gun: Maverick."

Anil also revealed that he encouraged his industry friends to explore international projects, suggesting they try working on projects beyond India. Initially, some of them were content with their work in India, but Anil later discovered that many had secretly pursued opportunities in Los Angeles, collaborating with platforms like Netflix and Amazon.

In his latest project, "The Night Manager Part Two," Anil reprised his role as the menacing arms dealer, Shailendra Rungta. The series is a remake of the 2016 British television show based on John Le Carre's novel. Alongside Anil, the show features Aditya Roy Kapur, Sobhita Dhulipala, Tillotama Shome, Ravi Behl, and Saswata Chatterjee.
