The incident took place in the Gola Mandi area of Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, where a female physiotherapist, identified as Zareen, was allegedly molested and attacked by a group of four men and one woman. The distressing incident occurred on Friday when the victim was driving back home on her two-wheeler. The attackers waylaid her, forcibly took her keys, and reportedly misbehaved with her. When she protested, they resorted to violence, leaving her injured and traumatized.
Following the heinous act, locals and Congress leaders, including Noori Khan and Ravi Bhadauria, staged a protest at the Kharakua police station, demanding strict action against the accused. The protestors called for justice and even sought bulldozer action on the houses of those involved. The incident has sparked outrage in the community, with concerns being raised about women's safety in the region.
