Leaders of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal have taken to the streets in different districts of Haryana to voice their demands for stringent measures against those responsible for the recent communal violence in Nuh and Sohana. The clashes have left the region tense, and these right-wing leaders are urging the government to take decisive action to quell further unrest.
Harish Ram Kali, a prominent leader of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad in Jind, has called on the government to act decisively against the perpetrators involved in the communal violence. In his impassioned statement, he highlighted that individuals from a specific community had launched an attack on a shobha yatra, a religious procession, and stressed the urgency of their arrest. Kali expressed his concern that certain anti-social elements are attempting to turn Mewat into a hub for unlawful activities, and he emphasized the need for the government to address these issues with utmost seriousness.

Meanwhile, Bajrang Dal leader Harish Varma spearheaded protests in Fatehabad, demanding a swift response from the Haryana government. He advocated for the implementation of the Uttar Pradesh model, a reference to the stringent measures taken in Uttar Pradesh to curb communal incidents. Varma suggested that the houses of those involved in the violence should be bulldozed and their properties seized. He also called for the invocation of the National Security Act (NSA) against the accused, seeking strong legal actions to deter further violence and unrest in the region.
Adding to the chorus of demands, right-wing leader Varun Bajrangi from Bhiwani pressed for compensation for the victims of the communal violence. He specifically requested ₹20 lakh for those injured in the clashes and ₹5 crore for the families of the deceased. The scale of these demands reflects the gravity of the situation and the severity of the consequences faced by the affected communities.
As the situation in Nuh and Sohana remains tense, these leaders are making their voices heard, urging the government to take immediate and resolute actions to restore peace and harmony in the region. The call for strict measures against those involved, along with demands for compensation and property seizures, underscores the urgent need for comprehensive and effective resolution of the communal tensions in Haryana.
