In a recent incident that shook the town of Moga in Punjab, a 65-year-old man named Santokh Singh was tragically shot dead in his own home. The incident was believed to be a consequence of a clash that had erupted within the confines of a local prison involving his son, Sukhdev Singh, who has a history of criminal activities. The Punjab Police have taken swift action in response, apprehending a notorious gangster named Gopi Dallewalia, who is alleged to have played a pivotal role in orchestrating the murder.
On the fateful day of July 16, a group of four attackers forcibly entered Santokh Singh's residence and fatally shot him. This tragic event was rooted in a clash that had previously occurred within Faridkot jail, where Santokh's son, Sukhdev Singh, was incarcerated. Sukhdev had clashed with another gangster named Gaurav Sharma, also known as Goru Bacha, behind bars. This prison dispute had severe repercussions, as it was revealed that Goru Bacha and his associates had allegedly plotted to avenge the harm caused to him by targeting Sukhdev's father.
As investigations unfolded, law enforcement authorities uncovered the sinister plot that had been masterminded from within the jail. Preliminary findings pointed to the involvement of gangsters Gopi Dallewalia and Goru Bacha in orchestrating the murder of Santokh Singh. Acting on intelligence, the Anti-Gangster Task Force successfully apprehended Gurpreet Singh, alias Gopi Dallewalia, who was identified as a crucial accomplice in the murder. Gopi Dallewalia was associated with the Goru Baccha group, and he had a significant criminal record, including convictions in four criminal cases and being a proclaimed offender in a 2016 murder case.

These individuals were considered key players in carrying out the heinous act.
A deeper look into the events preceding the murder revealed a complex web of clashes and vendettas within the criminal underworld. This dispute escalated beyond the prison walls and ultimately contributed to the murder of Santokh Singh.
