All private and government schools across Haryana will remain closed on Wednesday, as announced by Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar. The decision was made in recognition of the 77th Independence Day celebrations, allowing students and staff to observe the occasion with enthusiasm and patriotism.

During an Independence Day function, CM Khattar not only conveyed the day off announcement but also expressed his optimism for Haryana's future. He articulated his confidence that Haryana will outpace other states in terms of development by the year 2047, showcasing his dedication to progress and growth.

Khattar also emphasized the importance of unity, urging the people of Haryana to set aside social, religious, and communal differences in favor of maintaining harmony and mutual understanding. He reiterated that the government views all citizens of the state as part of a larger family and remains committed to equal development for everyone.

CM Khattar highlighted the remarkable transformation and advancements witnessed by Haryana in the past nine years. He mentioned the establishment of the Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam to safeguard young people from exploitation by contractors in outsourced services. He also pointed out the initiation of online passport facilities for those aspiring to pursue overseas careers.

Khattar concluded by sharing updates on metropolitan development authorities formed for Gurugram, Faridabad, and Panchkula. He announced the formation of a similar authority for Hisar, focusing on balanced urban growth and enhanced living conditions.
