In the aftermath of the Nuh violence incident, an accused named Osama, also known as Pehalwan, has been arrested following a brief encounter. He sustained a gunshot wound in his leg and was subsequently hospitalized. The encounter occurred near Ujina canal drain as he was traveling from Firozpur salt village to Aali Meo.

Arrest and Recovery

Osama, a resident of Ferozepur Namak, Nuh, was a suspect in an arson case. The police team, led by Inspector Vimal of the Cybercrime Police Station in Nuh, successfully apprehended him. The search yielded an illegal country-made katta, an empty cartridge, and a motorcycle in his possession.

Earlier Arrest and Handover

On August 22, another accused of the Nuh violence, Aamir from Didara, Nijampur Tauru, was arrested by Haryana Police after an encounter. Prior to this, residents of Singar village handed over five accused individuals to the police. These individuals were linked to the communal violence that occurred on July 31.

Efforts to Maintain Peace

The authorities have been actively pursuing a massive manhunt to locate the accused involved in the Nuh violence. District Commissioner Dhirendra Khadgata and Superintendent of Police Narender Bijarnia have held discussions with community leaders from 262 villages to ensure a peaceful resolution and the voluntary surrender of the accused.

Background of the Violence

Six individuals lost their lives during the communal clashes that transpired in Nuh when a mob attacked the VHP's Braj Mandal Yatra on July 31. The incident resulted in the deaths of two home guards, a cleric, and others. A total of 61 FIRs have been filed in connection with the Braj Mandal violence case, leading to the arrest of 280 individuals. Additionally, one person was arrested for spreading rumors on social media. The Superintendent of Police cautioned the public against believing and propagating rumors, emphasizing the strict consequences for those spreading misinformation.
