The Adani Group has vehemently rejected allegations made by the Organised Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP) regarding undisclosed offshore investments. OCCRP's report, released recently, raised concerns that millions of dollars had been funneled into publicly traded Adani Group stocks through obscure investment funds based in Mauritius, managed by associates of the Adani family.

Adani Group, in response, dismissed these allegations as "recycled," asserting that they had been previously addressed. The OCCRP's claims centered around "mysterious" investors who purportedly engaged in the purchase and sale of Adani stocks via offshore structures. The organization identified two individuals, Nasser Ali Shaban Ahli and Chang Chung-Ling, alleging that they held longstanding business connections with the Adani family. According to OCCRP, these individuals served as directors and shareholders in various Adani Group entities linked to Vinod Adani, the elder brother of Gautam Adani. OCCRP contended that they had concealed their involvement by conducting transactions through offshore entities, reaping substantial profits in the process.
