On Thursday, during an informal meeting, Opposition parties in India made significant decisions to prepare for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and challenge the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA). This effort is under the banner of the "Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance" (I.N.D.I.A.). They are set to announce a coordination committee consisting of 11 members from key Opposition parties, as 28 non-BJP parties will convene at Mumbai's Grand Hyatt Hotel on Friday for a formal meeting. This development signals a united front against the NDA.
During their informal meeting, Opposition leaders emphasized the need to shift into election mode and accelerate their preparations to contest the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The urgency to finalize seat sharing arrangements and establish a shared agenda in the coming weeks was also stressed.

The I.N.D.I.A. alliance plans to create a coordination committee consisting of 11 members. These members will be drawn from the principal Opposition parties. This committee is expected to play a crucial role in strategizing and coordinating efforts among the Opposition parties.
Initially, there were reports suggesting that the I.N.D.I.A. bloc would unveil its coalition logo on Friday at around 10:30 am. However, this plan has been canceled for the day. Sanjay Raut, a Rajya Sabha MP from Shiv Sena, confirmed this development. He highlighted the significance of the logo within the alliance and mentioned that discussions about it would take place during the meeting, but it would not be revealed on that day.
