Celebrity couple Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas have made the difficult decision to end their marriage after four years together. The couple, who tied the knot four years ago, are parents to two daughters, Willa, aged three, and D., aged 14 months. Joe Jonas, a 34-year-old member of the Jonas Brothers band, filed for divorce from Sophie Turner, a 27-year-old actress known for her roles in "Game of Thrones" and "X-Men." According to court documents obtained by NBC News, the divorce proceedings were initiated in Miami, Florida.
The court documents state that the reason for their divorce is an "irretrievably broken" marriage, indicating that the couple has reached a point where reconciliation seems impossible.

It was revealed in the divorce filing that Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner had a prenuptial agreement in place. This legally binding agreement outlines how their assets and finances will be divided in the event of a divorce. On Tuesday, Joe Jonas submitted the divorce documents to the Miami-Dade County Court. Reports also surfaced about the recent sale of their shared home in the area.
Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas first crossed paths in 2016 through Instagram when Jonas sent Turner a direct message. They had mutual friends who had been trying to introduce them for a while. Turner shared in a 2019 interview with Harper's Bazaar UK that they had been following each other on Instagram when Jonas reached out to her unexpectedly. Their connection deepened, and they began dating shortly after. They got engaged in October 2017, and Turner expressed her happiness, describing Jonas as her "person," during an interview with Marie Claire in 2018.

In 2019, the couple celebrated their love with two weddings. The first was a spontaneous ceremony in Las Vegas on May 1, immediately following the Billboard Music Awards. Their love story had captured the attention and admiration of fans worldwide, making their divorce announcement a poignant moment in their journey.
