Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has announced plans to establish a scheme aimed at improving road infrastructure in villages that have been incorporated into urban areas. This initiative is designed to enhance transportation convenience for farmers, particularly in their efforts to transport crops from agricultural fields located in these urbanized villages.
Chief Minister Khattar made this significant announcement during a 'Jan Samvad' public outreach program held in Satrod Khas village in Hisar. He highlighted the government's existing 'Khet Khalihan' scheme, which focuses on paving roads leading to rural fields. The state government's introduction of online portals has enhanced transparency and efficiency in implementing various schemes, ensuring that eligible beneficiaries receive the benefits of government programs.
Chief Minister Khattar provided updates on ongoing and upcoming development projects in Satrod Khas village. He mentioned that work under the 'Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT)' scheme had already been completed in the village, which is now part of the Municipal Corporation Hisar.
