In a significant achievement, two Indian schools have been selected as finalists for the prestigious World's Best School Prizes 2023, each with a chance to win a share of the $250,000 prize. Snehalaya English Medium School from Ahmednagar, Maharashtra, and Riverside School from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, have secured their spots among the top three schools globally in different prize categories.

Snehalaya English medium school

Snehalaya English Medium School, situated in Ahmednagar, Maharashtra, stands as a beacon of hope and transformation. This school, founded on charitable principles, has played a remarkable role in changing the lives of children facing the daunting challenges of HIV/AIDS and those born into sex worker families. Notably, it has successfully put an end to second-generation prostitution within its district. The school's remarkable efforts have earned it a place among the final three contenders for the World's Best School Prize for Overcoming Adversity 2023.

Riverside school

On the other hand, Riverside School, located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, has gained global recognition for its innovative and student-centric approach to education. It is particularly renowned for its I CAN pedagogical model, which has revolutionized the way education is delivered. This international school has secured its position in the final three for the World's Best School Prize for Innovation 2023.
