Haryana's Health and AYUSH Minister, Anil Vij, inaugurated a homeopathy hospital in Rampur village, Ambala Cantonment, marking a significant healthcare development in North India. This state-of-the-art facility, built at a cost of ₹60 lakh, is the first of its kind in the region and is expected to serve as a vital resource for residents.
The newly inaugurated 20-bedded hospital, housed in a community hall, is part of a broader endeavor. It is linked to a homeopathic medical college currently under construction with 100 seats. This ambitious project comes with an estimated cost of ₹65 crore.
Minister Vij highlighted that once the new building for the medical college is ready, the hospital will be relocated there to facilitate medical education. According to regulations, a hospital must be operational for at least two years before such a transition can occur.
