Late Tuesday evening, residents of Himachal Pradesh's Chamba district experienced mild tremors caused by a 2.1 magnitude earthquake, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). The quake, which struck at a depth of 5 kilometers, was reported around 9:15 PM.

Around 9:15 PM on Tuesday, a minor earthquake with a magnitude of 2.1 on the Richter Scale gently shook the Chamba district in Himachal Pradesh. The quake, occurring at a depth of 5 kilometers, was detected by the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
