As part of the Garbage-Free City Mission, Chandigarh's Municipal Corporation (MC) has inaugurated its second Children Waste to Wonder Park, located in Sector 32. This park spans 5 acres and comes at a cost of ₹7 lakh, with the first park situated in Sector 48. The park stands as a unique addition to Chandigarh's array of attractions and emphasizes the significance of recycling and reuse in waste reduction.

Park features:

One of the park's standout features is a play zone crafted entirely from recycled tires, providing an engaging and educational experience for children. Various waste materials, including tires, chains, bearings, iron sheets, pipes, and plastics, have been creatively repurposed to construct tunnels, huts, play equipment, and more. Additionally, the construction incorporated waste from a demolition and construction waste processing plant, repurposing it for a Snakes and Ladder board and the park's benches, entryway, and wall.
