Manika Batra, who clinched a gold medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games and a bronze in mixed doubles at the Jakarta Asian Games, will now prepare to face world No. 3, Yidi Wang of China, in the quarterfinals. Their next challenge awaits as they go up against Korea's Woojin Jang and Lim Jong-hoon in the upcoming match.
On the other hand, the Indian pair of A Sharath Kamal and G Sathiyan faced a tough competition from the Chinese pair of Chuqin Wang and Fan Zhendong, ultimately losing with a score of 0-3 (5-11, 4-11, 7-11).
