In a coordinated effort by Punjab Police's Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) and Mohali Police, four key members of the notorious Bambiha Gang were apprehended. These criminals were under the command of Gaurav Kumar, also known as Lucky Patial, who is currently on the run and believed to be based abroad.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Lakhvir Kumar, also known as Lucky, from Jawaharpur village in Dera Bassi, Ravi Kumar, alias Fauji, from Gadhapur village in Patiala, Gurvinder Singh, known as Matto, from Bithonia village in Patiala, and Jatinder Singh, alias Soni, from Dera Bassi. The police teams recovered four pistols, including two sophisticated foreign-made pistols (Beretta and Zigana) and two locally crafted ones, along with 25 live cartridges. Additionally, two motorcycles used by the gang members were impounded.
The operation was executed under the supervision of Additional DGP Promod Ban, with inputs from Mohali Police. The arrest occurred near a school on the old Ambala-Kalka road in Dhakoli, situated on the outskirts of Chandigarh.

Preliminary investigations have uncovered that the absconding gangster, Lucky Patial, had assigned specific targets in Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh to the arrested suspects. The police are continuing their probe, and more information regarding the Bambiha Gang's criminal activities is anticipated.
A case has been registered under section 25(6) and (7) of the Arms Act at the Dhakoli Police Station in Mohali. The arrest and seizures are part of ongoing efforts to curb gang-related criminal activities in the region, and the police are committed to maintaining law and order.
