Mukesh Ambani, the Chairman and Managing Director of Reliance Industries, recently received a death threat via email, demanding a payment of ₹20 crores, with the threat of harm if the demand wasn't met. The threatening email conveyed that "we will kill you" if the money wasn't paid, claiming to have "the best shooters in India."

Police register case

In response to this threat, the security team of Mukesh Ambani filed a complaint with the Mumbai police. The Gamdevi Police in Mumbai acted swiftly, registering a case against an unknown individual under sections 387 and 506(2) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). Section 387 pertains to extortion, while 506(2) deals with criminal intimidation.
