In a close call for students on an educational tour to Kurukshetra, a school bus carrying 40 children collided with a truck carrying glass sheets, setting off a major pileup involving 30 vehicles near Daheru village on the Khanna town national highway. Fortunately, the students emerged unharmed, but the glass sheets on the truck were damaged in the accident.
The incident occurred as poor visibility due to fog led the school bus driver to collide with the truck, which was transporting fragile glass sheets. The students, part of an educational tour to Kurukshetra in Haryana, had a lucky escape despite the severity of the pileup.

After the mishap, 28 vehicles were involved in subsequent collisions, causing a significant disruption in traffic. Khanna traffic in-charge Paramjit Singh Benipal and the police team swiftly reached the scene, initiating an investigation. Damaged vehicles were cleared from the road, and traffic flow was restored by noon.
