The Common Admission Test (CAT) 2023, conducted by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow, saw a significant participation with 3.28 lakh candidates registering, of which 88% (2.88 lakh) appeared for the exam. The examination, held on November 26, featured 66 questions divided into three sections - Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Quantitative Aptitude (QA).
After the exam, the focus has shifted to the release of the provisional answer key, expected to be available shortly on the official examination website, iimcat.ac.in. Last year's pattern suggests that after the November 27 exam, the answer key was unveiled on December 1. Following the release of the provisional key, candidates will have the opportunity to raise objections, and if valid, necessary changes will be incorporated into the final answer key.

Candidates eager to access the CAT 2023 answer key can follow simple steps. They need to visit the official website or the registered candidate login page, submit their login details, and download the answer key for verification.
The IIMs do not follow a centralized counseling process, meaning candidates must apply separately to each institute, and admission policies may vary. Applicants are advised to carefully review all instructions before applying to their preferred IIM.
