Gunshots rang outside Punjabi singer and actor Gippy Grewal's home in Canada, orchestrated by Lawrence Bishnoi's gang, known for its association with Canada-based gangster Goldy Brar. Bishnoi, involved in the murder case of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala, attributed the attack to Grewal's supposed closeness to Salman Khan. Bishnoi warned both Grewal and Salman Khan, asserting that no one, including Dawood, could save them.
Gippy Grewal, born Rupinder Singh Grewal on January 2, 1983, is a prominent Punjabi singer and actor. He made his debut in 2010 with "Mel Karade Rabba" and has since contributed to several hit movies. Grewal's journey involved overcoming financial struggles in Canada, where he initially juggled three jobs. Married to Ravneet Kaur, they have two children.

Lawrence Bishnoi targeted Grewal due to his perceived association with Salman Khan. Bishnoi had previously threatened Salman over the killing of a blackbuck, considered sacred by the Bishnoi community. Bishnoi expressed his life goal as killing Salman, emphasizing a relentless pursuit against all perceived enemies.
